Role In Def Jam Duo as Johnny Blaze Edit
Years after the Crow incident, Blaze and Doc were promoted to co-owners alongside the protagonist character from Fight for NY and D-Mob. During the Def Jam Takeover dubbed the East Coast Apocolypse, when the entire crew is evacuated, Johnny Blaze and Dr. Funk decide to stay back in New York despite the rampant gangs and terrorists after them and the rest of D-Mob's gang. At that point the two decide to once again team up for old times sake to take back Def Jam and later help out D-Mob and the protagonist, bring down the terrorists and escape from New York.
Role In Def Jam Control as Method Man Edit
Method Man is encountered in the campaign after Trick is killed. In retirement after getting money from taking responsibility of some of the events of Def Jam: Duo. After hearing about Playa's dedication to fighting and ambitious goal to take down King Kunta while mourning Trick's death, He joins his friend Redman to start fighting with Playa and his crew to get Disturbing Tha Peace to stop going after them. Eventually the two grow to be very important assets to Playa's crew especially when they are aquired earlier in the game.
